Auto insurance for COE cars

  Just found out that insurance companies only offer comprehensive coverage for cars that do not exceed 9 years of age.
  
  This means that old COE cars are only entitled to "Third Party Fire & Theft" and "Third Party Only" coverage.
  
  Can anyone tell me how much the annual premium is for "comprehensive" third party coverage for a 1323cc car which is registered in 1992? Just an estimate will do.

  Assuming you are in your late 20's or early 30's, $200~400 depending on your actual age group. The younger you are the higher the amount will overshoot my above assumptions. As a guideline for you, when I bought my first car, a 9 year old Nissan Pulsar 1.4SLX in 1999, I was age 23. My premium at that time was 800 over dollars for a 3rd Party Fire & Theft with zero NCB...

  Just got a quotation for Third Party Only coverage. Premium is SGD1370. Quite expensive I'd say.

  Late 20's. Mazda 121 was registered in 1992.

  This means that without NCB, my premium is $1,616. My age is 31. U r only 2 or 3 years younger than me.... Seriously I don't understand how they derive such a figure for you considering:
  
  1. It's not 1st party insurance
  2. It's not a new car...

  huh, so expensive ? I bought my 95 civic jan 06, took 3rd party fire & theft, no ncd(my last car under my mum's name), cost me $700++ only leh. (im 25yo with 5 years driving experience
