Dude, go for handling mods man. Lighten up the car, do up the suspension and brakes. Will be much more advisable than going for more power at this point in time.

You will need to change alot of things in order to fit in a supercharger.... For start you can sketch out the location where the supercharger can be located. Get the BMW engineer to endorse it and then do a calculation of the exhaust emission.
With all the paper work I suggest you to buy a golf GTi for leisure instead. -

Well..instead of adding power to the car, y not try to balance up your car first. Like what kron said, suspension,weight etc.
Too much power add on without doing anything for your car parts, later the car cannot take the engine power and it will be wasted. Try changing the whole body to CF, imagaine... 15% lesser weight and you will see a very big impact on your performance of your engine. Better absorber to take in the pressure on cornering and balancing on the road. Change your exhaust box to semi blank..take out the muff(illegal way) You will instantly see the difference...
Any better performance which you want to see....might as well get a super car.
Or try playing with the new STI 06version...seems quite interesting if mod well. -
ask J4C or BVO. i've spoken to seetoh before; if you're willing to pay, they'll be able to help with the paperwork.
some of the sc kits out there do meet euro emissions standards and have CARB paperwork already so you'll have a better chance with those kits.
my thoughts on this: i'm assuming it's for your ///M. do remember that your s54 is already running very high compression, plus the ambient temp here is significantly higher than in the US so unless you plan on doing some work on your internals, i believe you are limited in the amount of boost you can have or you'll have to be prepared to run a higher risk of early detonation.
the S54 just won engine of the year again didn't it? so why mess around with it? -
