mitsubishi lancer GDI

  How come sg carmart don sell GDI lancer wierd.. tink is vv hard to get 1 now..
  anybody noe which year of production is mitsubishi lancer GDI?

  which model of car using GDI and which year of production beside galant?

  GDI => gasoline-direct injection engine -- uses partially mixed fuel and air (i.e., a heterogeneous mixture) that is injected directly into the cylinder rather than into an intake port. when spark plug ignites the mixture, burning more of the fuel and creating less waste. which is different from normal engine that patrol is thoroughly mixed and injected before intake valve..
  
  mitsubishi has few 2000-2002 lancer and galants in singapore market... there may be more other models, but these two are more common in singapore.

  GDI engine got design flaw...that's why removed from mkt. Mitsu revert back to 4G15 block (20year old) engine for the lancer we see on the road....ha ha ha... buying a dinosaur with new skin. (this thing shares the same engine with a proton wira)

  proton wira uses a SOHC 3 valve-per-clyinder sonfig leh...u sure???

  GDI is said to use energy saving with high performance engine however in fact many feel tt is high FC and low power performance?

  the lancer engine is actually one of the most reliable, 20yr history says it all....
  
  Anyway on singapore road, it is the DARE and SKILL that matters, not the car really. haha.
  
  If you DARE to go corner high speed and can handle the car and turning at that speed, a honda jazz and easily win a honda S2000.....
