Anyone tested or owed this 2L? How is this new car compare to the old one?

No paper value, If COE 12k plus 20k OMV how much you fatch after 3 years?
This car is good but duno reliable or not? -
tested the old maz6.
a bit slower on a touch n go basis (ie from stopline to Go...)
gear changing on an auto is ok...
cruising is nice but can be better...
not much gadgets on a stock car n mazda dun offer fantastic freebies when i m deciding to get it the other time.
space-wise, it is ok for 3 behind.
boot space is ok...can squeeze 2 golf bags w/o much of a problem.
many other 2L cars out there...paper value? unless u r driving a mercs or reputable conti...its difficult to get back much on paper bcos cars are dirt cheap. body for export may not cost as much as say when its first release. (i may be wrong...pls chk wif exporters) -
This 6 sp is using VVT engin, I was told the old one b4 06 is not and only 4 speed. I didn't test the old one yet, but base on this SP it is not bad.
the 5 speed with steptronic is very responsive plus cruise control which only the 2.3L have in the past.
I also look at the resale section, with I know those bought in 02,03 are with high COE but now they are sell less than 10k above paper value, Maybe I calculate wrongly! -

I wouldnt advise someone to buy a car model that has been out for quite some time... What the car maker does is that it will use back the same platform and same looks but add in some gadgets, modify the look a little, change the components a little to attract new buyers.... but very soon later, it will roll out an entire new look for that particular model, then the one you bought will become obsolete even though it's brand new...

Old M6 2.0 which is using DOHC engine with 4 speed auto..manual aircon..no cruise control..single "limping-looking"exhaust..Only the 2.3 version got VVT engine then.
The new 2.0 6sp is using VVT engine with 5 speed activematic..got cruise control,auto climate aircon..and not forgetting--twin exhaust.. a very good buy at current price..
They are targeting the JDM Accord buyer not much of the Legacy buyer. PI JDM Accord is having iVtec and electronic 5 speed gear box. Just heard from a Type R driver the FC for a JDM Accord Type R is about $100 full tank for 750-800km. -
