No surprise that all 20 units were sold out.... mostly to Japan. It came out months ago already. I personally prefer the MINE'S R34 GT-R.

i read in a magazine of pple transplanting the RB26DETT into a silvia.... then they called it the ultimate drift machine...

because GTR's RB26DETT is a very powerful engine and alot of power can be extracted, it also has a very strong tranny... supra has also alot of potential like the skyline.

of course i know the rb26dett has tremendous power but y not market other cars liek supras?

it is because their engine block does not allow them to take so much load... eg: evo and wrx can be modded till ard 800bhp only but for skyline, theres couple tuned to 1000+ bhp.

The Supra is also indeed a great machine... but because production has ended years ago... and there are no plans to build any future generations of it, so it's like "It was good while it lasted". No doubt it is still very well-recieved in other countries, maybe it's not made widely known.
One thing about the GT-R is that it has made international appearances in the racing scene, that one important factor that gives it it's high creditbility. Well at least that's what I think.
