Got a question about insurance.. pls help

  Hi all, my insurance expiring in 4 days time but i dont have the money to get the insurance yet... what will happen? Will i be charge or anything? Road tax wise i not afraid cause i just have to pay the late fee

  Why do I need motor insurance?
  
  In Singapore it is against the law to drive a motor vehicle on the road without a valid insurance policy. The minimum requirement is that the policy provides cover for personal injury to other parties.

  I mean I may have to wait till end of month then i can buy my insurance... my current one expire on 14th... what will happen?

  Think u may get into trouble if drive without insurance (which is a serious offence)...better check with ur insurance agent....
  
  can be charged under Sec 3(1) of the Road Traffic Act, Cap 276
  
  (charged for driving without valid insurance coverage and can be fined up to $1000 or jailed up to 3 months, or both.)

  Nothing will happen as long as you dun drive it out.
  
  No insurance paid means cannot renew road tax which also means no driving on the road. Well... till you settle the insurance and tax, it would be better not to drive the car.

  Very sure that nothing will happen if you dun drive out....
  Once you got your insurance, try to siam all strageic spots of TPs and make your way down to VICOM to get your road tax renew. Safer bet is to tow the car there for inspection.

  renew insurance first, then renew roadtax online. onemotoring.com. its convenient and safe.

  Just dont drive your car till you renew it. But do it asap. I got once also same problem with your. The month b4 having to renew insurance and road tax i overspend my $$. Than i renw it 20 days late, just have to pay the LTA late payment fees of $20
