Can anyone tell me what is the cost involved for getting cars and how much I have to fork out monthly to "feed" this car.
Hyundai Tucson or Santa Fe looks fabulous for me.
Any reviews about Tucson or Santa Fe will be appreciated.
Or other brands too.
Hiya,
Hyundais are known to have attractive initial prices, but maintenance (petrol consumption, repairs, etc) are really high. I had a Sonata before (as a second car and not used much), and even after 5 years, the auto tranny was gone and I had to scrap it 'cos it was too expensive to repair. Not much power too (Hyundai has been known to "accidentally" over-rate their horsepower figures - and later had to give an apology for doing so in the US). Still, Hyundai has its team of loyal fans - as well as its team of loyal critics....just like everything else in this world.
Its hard to answer your question on how much you have to fork out monthly. It differs greatly from person to person - depending on how you drive, how much you drive, how much loan you take, your driving records, insurance scheme, etc etc. Whatever you do, please don't be conned into taking too long a loan.
If you want something affordable and practical though....I'd go for the Tucson between the two. The Santa Fe is far too huge and heavy (in both weight and maintenance)....hardly a "zip around town" car.
As for reviews for Hyundai, what better way than to hear it from the locals themselves? Right here:

Good luck on your decision!
