taking driving lesson soon, but the way i see how driver drive is really very irresponsible and scary . don't know if i am on roadside, will survive or not. actually we can practice safe driving but the other car on roadside they drive like maddness, they think the roadside belong to them, and they love to pick up fight, show bad sign and very ..

Hey, don't be too affected by these bad experiences. There are many considerate drivers around too. You need to have some confidence in driving, otherwise, you'll be the road hazard in future, trust me. The road's not a place for hesitation.

They should let taxi drivers into the driving circuit, for learners to experience real singapore driving.

like the manual transmission thing, all it takes is practise... and time...
you gain more confidence and you know what the car can do, then you'll be fine...

Now how is it that your topic contradicts each other? Few days back you fail your theory. But many days back is your first time driving on road. Now this.
Is there a new rule that you can go on practical even though you fail your theory?

meaning i must really explain myself very very clearly, sorry i never know i need to type all history.i am very very stress of all those drivers this morning and every morning, i am not trying to confuse anybody here,. i can explain.
ok i failed my 2nd theory last week, i did my 1st practical test last 2 weeks, ok, then i am sitting as a passenger in my h ubby car every morning to experience all those terrible horrible terrifying drivers road bully i guess. each morinig. i am not driving dear i am only a passenger hopei make myself clear and not trying to confuse ppl. -

if this is ur case, i seriously suggest that u do not continue taking ur driving license, i know this is hurtful, but i think u are not meant for the road.
if u get so stressed over such minor incidents, i cant imagine u taking the road.
wat u seen was only a small tiny winy handful, there are scarier drivers out there. -
Talk abt bad driving habits, I saw one driver who happens to be a lady purposely speed up when another car trying to change lane. This happen in the tunnel and i think the car is trying to exit cairnhill. The car have to slow down nearly to a stop before change lane in order not to miss the exit.
When i drove by, the lady was smilling or laughing, feeling proud of herself...i think. I drove pass and gave her a disgusted look. Very inconsiderate.....

i drive quite a lot... abt 100km everyday. i must say... 99% of the time i'm in friendly environment. the secret is... friendliness starts from "myself".
if i dun expect others to road-hog, hei... i myself dun road-hog too. simple right. and bla bla bla.
sometimes some drivers had a bad day... (picked a wrong song bla bla)... just leave them alone la. who never have a bad day right?

DonÂ’t fret Alba, I got my license in Australia and was driving there for about 5 yrs before coming back to Singapore and I must say the first few months was truly scary because the majority of road users here have no courtesy and total disregard for any other road user except themselves.
DonÂ’t be afraid and go get your license,you'll get used to the road conditions here fast enough.
Drive safe and donÂ’t do onto others what u donÂ’t want done to yourself -
as a 1st timer driving behind e wheels can b vvv scary. esp started out on the real road.
its not in daytona. what u r facing are real life traffic flow whith all cars, taxis, buses, lorries zooming past u. n also bikes who are jus right beside ur car.
it can be scary but it doesnt mentally imbalanced. i am v sure after many tries learners will overcome the fear and they will grin to themselves when they looked back on how scaredy cat they were last time.
n after conquering that, the only last thing to fear is TP.
but i believe u ought to have self confidence n great faith in yourself in order not to fear this n that. after all, driving is about self judgement and confidence. -

Initially i had the same mindset u err how to survive on the road etc
its just matter of time u will able to overcome the fear on the road and gradually u will started to love driving.
why u fear of the road coz u have yet to master the right driving techiques, practice more and am sure u can make it.
