Which brand of Solar Film is the Best?

Pls enlighten me. The colour of the tint does not determine the UV heat reduction right? How does it works? Whats the LTA compliance?

instead of chasing by brands, should look out for
1. specification -- as in how much IR rejection, and transmittance. most will have 99% UV rejection. the highest priced ranges a vendor give are those with high IR rejection. this is to reject heat.
2. workmanship -- this is utmost important.
3. guarantee on LTA compliance for light transmittance (min 70% front, 25% rear)-- this has to be when installed, not the film itsef. some cars already slightly tinted.
4. no interference with radio signals - as in HP, IU.
so do shop around, see which shop you like... and do it there. -
I just called my sales man. He said Lexus use HuperOptiks solar film (99% UV and 80% Infra reduction). This is good enough? Get the super reflect one where ppl totally cant see in . N all they see is a mirror! Those are best ~

I would suggest 1 Layer of reflect Sun-Cool and then a layer of black 50% or 60% black tints.
First of all Sun-Cool reflects the heat that is trapped at the black tints and the black tints further keeps the cool in ur car . -

cant jus say brand A is cooler den brand B. cos within each brand, got various grades. check the spec. -

Trust me. Huper Optik is good. Somemore it's installed in Borneo Motors itself. Any prob can always go back to your sales person.

huper is ceamic base , v cool is metalic based, most brand carried low ,medium, or high grade.i got lobang for huper if u like i will arranged a visit to the workshop before u decide, bring ur friends for advice

mine is huper-optik too!
SE said there is nothing good abt V-Kool. it's pricey coz' it's too marketed. -
I tot the v-kool mystic has higher specs than HO with I was getting mine, but maybe its because the higher spec HO is not suitable for the orginal tinit on my glass.
Anyway, Very happy with my v-kool mystic. Its more expensive, but if you spread the extra $100 over 5yrs, its not too much of a burden. -

Vcool 57% 98%
3M 95% 95%
Please check the spec b4 buying, the front and the back is all different spec.
I dont know about other brand spec so can just quote this 3. -
V-kool is a metal film that will corrosive. so maybe you can try others but hear huper is a heat asborsing not good, try 3M hear they are 1 of the best now. I got a guy doing mobile service but he is doing Private label product. Only at S$180 can get it done at mobile to your place, Try that before good workman ship.
