sorri i ask so much questions..
So even if you are going for a one week trip and intend to drive in another country you have to apply for an international license from singapore ?
No problem. I accept paypal and money order for my patience and prompt reply for you.Originally posted by pouncy:haha.. i just read the site. its $20 and valid for 1 year. But short term trips no need uh.
Anyway im not going overseas now. Just asking for general knowlegde. Just got my license last week.
On a sidenote, when you rent a car, do you ask the person renting you what type of petrol to top up or anything goes ?..
And whats the insurance coverage ? are they the same at any legal rental outlets ? And is there such a thing as legal and illegal rental in singapore ?
thank you to everybody for answering my questions so patiently and prompty..hehe
Well they will need a security deposit first i suppose.Originally posted by pouncy:So those rental services you see that says "P Plate welcome!!" are not "legal" and have no insurance converage at all ?
of cos. having insurance doesnt mean you no need to pay anitin...Originally posted by pouncy:i see i see.. So those popular ones like Vincent AKA rental king will be ok ?
haha...
So lets say (touch wood) you get into an accident with a legal rental car and a "illegal" rental car, in the end both also you end up paying for the damages rite ?
then u will pay the fine. easy as that..Originally posted by pouncy:Then what is the insurance from legal rentals for ?? To protect them from damage done to cars that is not your fault ?... lol
And how about when you are caught by the TP in a illegal rental car ?
really change liao ar?Originally posted by missqi:oh oh.
