Changing of air filter

  Just check with u guys, is it possible to change the normal air filter to those so call 'mushroom head' type?

  Yep.... No pro in changing to those open pod filters. But you still need to change the piping to the throttle body, as the old one comes with the box.
  But i personally find using the original box with a drop in after market filter, will be sufficient enough.

  i tink those mushroom heads are open pods, not very good for autocars, but for manual i think its not bad. i might be wrong

  There's actually a slight con to using open pods, they are more exposed to the open elements of the air out on the roads, meaning more dirt and particles will get sucked in and filter will get dirty more easily. Isolating the area around the cone will help reduce that, also at the same time blocking away the heat from the exhaust or radiator.
