starting cost from 200+ bucks (whose korean made) onwards....
till those very exp ones.... US ones

HIDs will require ballasts to use and have 'start up' time and cannot be turned and off in rapid succession without risking blowing it.
HID vs a halogen bulb of the same wattage is usually 2-3 times brighter. So technically they should be considered 'low wattage but high output' instead of high wattage (as compared to halogen/krypton).
Chiong ones are not even HID.. they are just HIDeous.![]()
