Long Delay For Mitsubishi Lancer ?

Anyone has to face a long wait for get their Lancer ?
I booked a car more than 1 month ago - at that point I was told I may need to wait until Sep latest.
Cycle & Carriage got the COE for me last week. I thought I will be getting the car soon. Imagine my surprise when I was told that I have to wait until end Oct to get the car!
C&C said that they are clearing backlog and the queue is now until Nov !!!
Anyone has a similar experience ? Anything I can do except 'scold' the C&C car agent for misleading me ? -

Tell Cycle & Carriage that you bought a Mitsubishi Lancer and they will ignore you for a while... and then finally when they reply you, they will say, "No choice. You have to wait."
Tell Cycle & Carriage that you bought a Mercedes S-class and see what kind of reply you get... -

erm... tell the SE u ar the winner of the Lambo for DBS Black Card Lucky Draw & u wan to transfer the car to another fren who is with another SE?? lolz...
Maybe after see his own commission gona be hand over to another SE he help u push your car out?? HAHA -

Guess juz got to wait... unless e SE has promised u certain delivery date which he failed to deliver... then u can go down, meet up with his manager to bang table... &... -
My colleague also recent book a Lancer, maybe abt 2 week ago. He said can only collect in Oct.
I hear another colleague waited till May when book in Feb for his Vios.
I bought Aveo, got it within 2 weeks after secure COE.
About Lancer, its price really drop a lot these few months. Is it they are clearing old stocks for new facelift version next year ?
I hear engine is 10 years old (but of cos mean reliable), maybe they change as well ? -
can forget about the lancer, u trust mitsubishi motor??
do u know that in japan, their top executive cover up about defect for say about 20 +++ year?

Go down to the showroom and while your SE is serving a new potential customer approach him/her and speak infront of everyone.... stating that he/she promise the car lastest August but now how come have to wait until Nov??
The SE will sure to put you in front of the queue to get your car... -

Just to update eveyone. The agent called me to say that my car will be delivered in Sept after all
I did not go down to the showroom to make a scene, but what I told the agent was that I am very disappointed and would be telling a few friends who are buying cars of this delay...
But still between booking the car and getting it is a wait of 2 months. My wife bought a Nissan Sunny and she waited 3 weeks to get the car! I thought it is because C&C didn't want to bid a high COE for me, but they manage to get the COE in early August, so it is really to wait for the car to come from Japan! Something wrong with their supply chain and way of doing business. -
Relax... Last time my Lancer (bought 1.5yrs back), i also waited for 2.5months... now I buying Civic also muz wait 2.5 mths till mid-Nov. Meanwhile enjoy public transport, u will miss it when u drive... (long wait=high demand=gd car??)

I get my Hyundai Matrix in 10 Days ok!!!
Long wait dun mean good car, mostly likely management screw up,
a lot things happening u dun know 1.
Btw, i also dun recommend Korean car, my wiper suck.
