my dad drives a cefiro A33 (the SE model, nearly 3yrs alrdy)... this cars sucks big time... it's big and spacious, but there are squeaks coming frm all over the car
-frm the dash (one fixed, one not fixed; frm the far left air con vent)
-driver seat (fixed by TC)
-driver door
-in the boot (frm a metal structure tt runs across the rear seats)...
i've confirmed tt they r not vibrations frm lose articles...but i've given up fixing it myself bcos once i fix one, another would appear...
the squeaks r really irritating, bcos they can start rattling at even 20km/h!!!
any similar incidence? can anyone pls help? -
my ex-ride corolla also got lots of little sounds here and there.
my current ride opel astra also got lots of squeaking from suspensions and my driver seat.
now then i learn a luxury car cefiro also sound here sound there. -
I get tons of complains of noises in my workshop.....
every car sure have one la... somemore one of them says "happens at time during journey then stays for the rest of the journey but once car is parked for awhile and another journey is made there is no noise" i was like "WTF...go Fvck spider la" -
ya same here.... it's like sometimes the sounds are so minute... as if they they drove the cars with the radio off all the time.... they even complain sounds from a cabriolet as well. But just to share some general tips, sometimes those squeaking could be caused by a screw not tighten properly or some material rubbing each other. Just try to find the source yourself and spray some lub or stick some sponge material will do.
