My windscreen has suffered a small crack

  hello everyone... can anyone help me...........
  
  my windscreen suffered a small crack from a stone flung up by the vehicle in front....
  
  my fren told me there is a methods available in workshop which is pretty high-tech.
  
  First, the damage is localised, and air is removed to create a vacuum. Then, a clear resin is injected. When the resin is cured, the glass is polished and becomes as good as new.
  
  do anyone nod any workshop that provide this type of service... and how much it will cost....

  got this from another forum, he does the same thing u mentioned. its not a workshop and think he will come to ur place to do the repair. Do call him for further information.

  This is a common problem - I kenah twice before also.
  
  Please check your insurance policy because most policies would cover the replacement of windscreens without affecting your premium. Replacement of windscreen, if yours is a normal car (meaning easy to get parts), takes just less than a day. But you may not be able to park outdoors for the next 1-2 days to let the sealants cure fully.
  
  Recently, I had a friend who suffered the same thing, but the crack was very small - unnoticeable at some angles. So what he did was take a mallet and softly made the crack more prominent, then claimed from insurance for the change of his windscreen.
