Want to rent a smart car

  Dear all,
  
  I'm looking to rent a Daimler-Chrysler smart FourTwo car to be my wedding car next year, July 7th

  Would anyone know where I can hire one, be it from [U][B]private owner [/B][/U]or [B][U]commercial car rental company[/U][/B]? Red one preferred by my future wife as she used to drive one in UK.
  
  Also, may I know which distributor/ importer brings in these smart cars? I can't seem to find this info on the Internet, though Daimler-Chrsyler said before that they are bringing them in.
  
  I dun even mind if there are sponsored adverts on the car if I can get to hire one.

  Daimler Chrysler produces these cars... but is there a Daimler HQ in spore? if hv, try it lor?? saw some traveling arnd... quite cute... gd luck in finding 1!!!

  The Daimler Chrysler in singapore is at tuas head for the tuas checkpoint and you look to the left and you can see a huge building with daimler chrysler wirtten on it in blue. its right next to the coke factory

  I've called up DC, to which the staff officer replied that they don't sell smart cars anymore
  
  I thought there was a Saturday Straits Times article some time back that mentioned that DC are bringing in smart cars? Around the same time that distributors are bringing in the Japanese Kei-cars?
  
  Nevertheless, I've seen a red one driving down Serangoon Central just last week. I'd really love to rent one for my wife. If there is really no other way, I may just have to go down to Bedok North...
  
  BTW, anyone knows a DC email address I can email to ask abt hiring one of their staff cars? Their website only have telephone and fax numbers. The lady was reluctant to give me her corporate email address.

  i drove it at paris, its so fun!!
  
  hmmm but wonder who is the dealer in SG?? our neigbours up north, Malaysia,
  have Smart cars for sale!!,
  
  anyway smart cars got good FC!!!
