Go to any petrol station/convenience store/anywhere selling magazines and purchase the latest Torque or Autocar magazine. In the back it lists the exact price inclusive of COE for almost all models of cars available now in Singapore. Pretty sure there is a few under 40k, I can check later

Subaru R1 at $43000 and R2 at $41,000. 660cc... 2 door... very small car.. suitable for ladies driver. I've thot of buying this car... any comment on this car so far???

Yah, I'm a lady... but so far, I have not seen any on road yet... My friends actually recommended Toyota Vios as it's a 1.5L car. but I dun really like the outlook.. very family car leh... test drive the r2. the SE say when reach about 40-45 km/h then can ramp. otherwise the enginer jus produce hot air n noise. it is true
actuall i find the R2 like no power at start up.
not recommended to purchase for me.
get a more decent 1000cc better.
also, dun get korean , GM (daewoo), china make is safe.
go for the more establish brand like honda and toyota.
have you try the CVT type, it should suit you.

Actually can seriously consider Proton Savvy.
A decent car compared to R1 or R2
Just felt R1 and R2 is way too expensive for a 660cc car. the interior also not fantastic. -

Anyway, I've just bought R2 on sat... within 1 week, the price went up to $42K... Wonderful! I read reviews, you could do at least 18 clicks to the litre on that thing. And max out 160km/h at 6500rpms.
