  It says it can do away with Paper coupon parking as the IU can be activated to deduct parking charge.
  
  I wonder how it will work?
  
  get the IU to deduct "off line" then display will show $0.50 paid. So warden walk pass to see if you have paid?
  
  Or if warden comes... he/she will use a device to deduct $0.50 from the cashcard but if no warden comes while you are parking.. parking will be free. (win-win situation)

  Maybe instead of cashcards, it'll be hardlinked to your CPF account. Play around with the rules abit, you'll never see your CPF ever again.

  If car = stop and engine = off then
  car is in parking mode, and parking charges effected;
  else if car = stop and engine = on then
  car is in motionless mode, and stationary car charges effected;
  else
  car in motion: traveling charges applies.

  Soon ERP charged will be according to your mileage during the stipulated peak hours. Peak hours will be adjusted to 0630-2100hrs monday to friday, and 0630-1730hrs on saturdays.

  might as well link the IR to the Ignition..
  
  you start car... you pay.
  
  so you pray you don't have a half-dead battery.. or else. you nede to pay like 4-5 times every time you start car.
