TP Summon

I got a TP Summon with a $120 composition fee and 3 demerit point for parking at a no parking zone.
Was actually at the main rd of bukit panjang plaze at 11.55pm on a friday to stop and went to the mac to take away.
The reasons of parking there is because,
1. The shopping complex carpark is closed.
2. There's no traffic during that hour.
3. It's only for awhile.
So my question is can i make an appeal? I tried with HDB but no sure about TP if it's allow or have to go down to take statement etc? -
Inform TP that your car brokedown and you left your handphone at home and you have to rush to a nearby phone booth to get help.
And when you came back, WHAM!! A ticket was issued.
I tried that numerous times before. It worked. -

Nah-beh I kena once for reversing into one way road at Rochor Canal Rd - walao.. $200
Why so high? TP says I evading ERP charges because that exit lane from side of Sim Lim Square near Taxi stand is considered within ERP zone! I was waiting for a colleague in front of Taxi stand, then a Taxi needed to move off I moved forward but some idiot immediately pull into my space. So I backed into the lane thinking it's for a while. Unfortunately, a TP was watching me from far away.
Vroom.!! and parked behind my Jag and TP walk over to me and says, "Where you come from?" I says, "Singapore." TP, "No, where did you come from?" I says, "Singapore lah!" TP tulan, "NONO! HOW, you come into this road??" I says, "Oorrrr..(nah-beh I thought in my heart, Speak Proper English lah!)..I reversed in from main road lah!" TP, "Do you see that sign?" TP points to No Entry sign. I says, "Oh, I didn't noticed." TP, "You are evading ERP, you reversed into ERP zone!"I say to him, "Look at my car, do I look like I will cheat $1.50?" he says, "Doesn't matter, so long as Traffic Law is broken, you will be charged."
Then I say to him, "Very good." and hand him my license and IC.
Bloody hell, it's that "where you come from..?" that made us both annoyed.

I had a similar parking fine outside Parkway Parade. Parked at the bus parking zone, but also has no waiting sign. Only left for 5 minutes to pick up something inside. Came back, the Cisco officer just printing the fine. Say just appeal and he will agree to cancel. I appeal, and he never responded, so TP refused to cancel my fine. $70.
I didn't realize parking fine can get demerits. I thought only moving violation can get demerit?

Everyone has the right to appeal whatever offence he/she committed. Authority has the right whether to accept / reject whatever reasons you give.
Some Parking offence also carry demerit points, such as parking at zebra control area, zig-zag yellow line(s)... Next time, if you want to park illegally, look for double yellow...cost S$70 only. There is no free parking on the road... -

Sorry dude, i find ur reasons rather lame. There are HDB carparks nearby....just walk a little more. If u had nobody to check on the car for u, then just forget abt Macs. U have left it to chance, so just pay up now. -

2 and 3 also not good excuse mah...U parked on main road...if a vehicle comes along then how?ur vehicle is not the only one using the road at nite mah...parking for a short while just makes it even worse lor...I am sure they heard of this excuse thousands of times liao...
just go and pay the fine lar... -

Don't leave it to chance now. With privatisation of traffic summons, there are a lot of them out there. Much more than before. This is a profit centre here. -

Lemme tell you, she stays in a 3 room flat in Toa Payoh, drives three cars; one a Toyota Corolla for work, 2nd one a Merce SLK, 3rd a BMW roadster. All parked downstairs!
She collects watches - Antique Watches! Each piece costing over S$30K!

But she very humble lady - no flaunting, simple dressing but certain things can tell - such as her Rolexes and Philip Patek watches she wears daily.
knn... so much money.. she very smart not to splurge on properties here...
She has a condo apartment or two and both are rented out for revenue.
