Speed immunity - do you have it?

anyone have this same 'problem' as me? used to find 40km/h fast while still on "L" plate, den triangle plate i find 90km/hr so much scarier den 40km/hr, and now i find driving at 110km/hr slow, but cant really go faster den that without fear of getting caught.

i "L" plate driving at 80 liao along Tampines Ave 10.
because the instructor and i were talking2 like friends and we just forgot abt everything.
yah now at 110 i always look at overhead bridge/road shoulder/rear view. so difficult to speed.
the only stretches i can remember i speed
- the long stretch of PIE between toh tuck/toh guan exits.
- PIE, between Tampines/Eunos exits. -

anyway...I also have the same problem...after I started driving for a few months...my normal speed is like 90...after that normal speed is 120-130...sometimes when the road is clear...even go up to 160 for short distances...
now normal speed is between 100 and 120...

i find it hard to stay below 90 but i'll try my best to keep my ceiling at 120. it's not like i am excited or what, i think i have my licence long enough to be over that. somehow i can't stick to the 2nd lane being overtaken for too long when i know i can reach my destination sooner by following the overtaking flow.
perhaps it's just that i'm impatient by nature. -

so i enter PIE frm tampines to lane 1.. and stay there till jln bahar exit. -

used to have the urge to speed...last time e/way 120 considered slow liao...pple block my way onli i juz cut...dun care one
now no more liao...petrol getting more n more ex...and life is too short for such stunt...but once a while will clear carbon la.. -
for me I always chase the car in front...but I dont tailgate...I stay at a reasonable distance behind for a few seconds then if conditions are OK...I always check my mirror and blind spot...I overtake.Originally posted by sinicker:yeah my eyes open si beh big there ahah.

yeah
my bike is sleeping at below 130
it wakes up for a jog at 160-180
i can feel it running at 200+
my usual cruising speed to work is 110, because it feels like 50. -
Its not fun at 110 anymore ....
Now driving is more enjoyable at 90km/h.

i press the cruise control at 90km/h* and juz cruise at that speed all the way.
at least that's when there are no other cars around. when i'm on cruise and a car comes in front of me and the cruise is driving my car right into his butt i deactivate and overtake on the left and press resume when in front of him and clear of cars in front.
however, its rare to be clear of cars in front and i end up never resuming my cruise and overtaking n overtaking sometimes going at speeds way above 91km/h* and being forced to overtake both on lefts and right of vehicles on both lanes 1 and 2 and after a while i arrive at my destination n i'm very irritated.
i cant understand why people keep blocking the the way when they have nowhere to go except driving in circles around singapore at ridiculously low speeds of 1000km/h* cant they see that other pple have places to go, stuff to do, and cant sit around in a car following behind their slow 1000km/h* car that's not going anywhere

I hardly exceed the speed limit, and never have to worry about speed camera. Don't have to burn unnecessary petrol either.

my speed is not over 110km in sg but on NSH im a boyracer

I have never driven before as you know I am only 14,but I find 110KM/H In a Mercedes slow.You can say I am immune to speeds.
