My dad was caught speeding somewhere in yishun doing 70 in a 60 zone. TP sent him an advisory letter, but no summon. Sibeh heng.

Doing 70 is called speeding.... most drivers will laugh their heads off... I was in the same situation as your dad before... and i also got a warning letter only... But it's really fucked up man.... 70 is fast?!!!! Why arent they catching those taxis that are doing 90-100 everywhere they go? Why arent they catching those ah beng cars that are going so fast? Why arent they catching those sports cars that speed like there's no tomorrow? If every driver on the road keeps to the speed limit strictly, then you will start to see traffic jams even during off peak hours.... what is with the speed limits in singapore? Something has to be done.....
This morning I was driving towards along lornie road to adam road... and there was this TP on the overhead bridge with his speed cam... and trying very hard to hide behind the camera.... this is just so childish....
How many of you have NOT seen a TP speeding on his bike before? Of course they have reasons to go fast if there are road emergencies... but not everytime right? But come to think of it again, the police force employs lots of ah bengs anyway, so what do u expect? -
I recall last time when i go Germany. I rent a car to drive... on their expressway, their TP stop me and tell me that i am road hogging when i driving at 130!!! THeir road gt no max speed limit, but gt minimum speed limit... tink is 160 bah... memory blur liaoz...
Wah shiok man... kan drive at 160+ on their road which is SO DAMN straight!! nvr kan happen in Spore... -
