Ya very impressive by the russ swift performance.. can see the subaru under carriage.... the STi tyre smoke build up by doing donut spin... COOL!!! IMPRESSIVE!!!

As for that price, usually for people who buy such cars, it's only worth maybe the first storey of their house... or maybe in extreme cases, tht's only worth the garden of that person's house... hahahaha

no the problem is worsening. i'm not saying our wage gap problem is the worst. we're certainly not experiencing the worst wage drift problem. but it's a matter of concern. and i realise more and more people are getting supercars now. while many also worry about getting instant noodles for the next meal. more of a structural economic problem. btw, anyone wanna go motorshow next sat? i can only go after my last A's paper. =) gg for the lambo lp640

Anyway, you may well be one of the elites next time who will earn lots of money... enough for you to buy supercars... and if that happens, what are you going to say about the income gap? You probably wouldn't care....
Don't tell me you are going to use that $1.6 mil to buy 20+ Toyotas and Nissans and distribute them to the poor? -

On the subject of fast cars and speed limits, do any of you know if its illegal here to have a speed camera detector/radar installed in your car? Very common in the US, which is how many people get away with speed

Singapore Motorshow opens to public at Suntec Singapore
SINGAPORE: The 2006 Singapore Motorshow has opened its doors to the public.
Organisers are hoping this eighth show will boost sales in the local auto industry.
Industry players say that with a healthy economy, good employment rate and a low price for Certificate of Entitlements, there has never been a better time to hunt for a car.
In fact, the Motor Traders Association says in the first 10 months of this year, 97,201 cars were registered, a 7 percent rise over the same period a year ago.
At this rate, car registration will hit an all-time high in Singapore.
The favourable market condition has also given some dealers more confidence in bringing in more choices.
Peter Kwee, Executive Chairman of Group Exklusive, says: "There is room for these China-made cars in Singapore market. We'll bring in one or two more brands to fill up all the different models, different range of cars for Singapore motorists.
"Our philosophy is to bring in value-for-money car - quality and price must have an equal balance."
With newer brands, visitors may not even notice the absence of some major European brands, like Mercedes Benz, BMW and Volvo.
But exhibitors say there are enough attractions for everyone.
It is estimated that about 100 first-ever luxury sports utility vehicles, that run on hybrid technology and could save up to 50 percent on petrol bill, have been sold.
Mel How, Borneo Motors, says: "Consumption right now is about 1 litre to 12.35 km, that's the same as a Toyota Altis. Emissions is about one-twentieth of a normal car."
The Singapore Motorshow will run until the 19th November. - CNA/so -

Did you get any pictures of those Mitsuoka cars? Absolutely horrible I think.
That car with the cheap imitation Rolls Royce Phantom front and grill and the other one with the jaguar look-alike front, both look like crap I think. -
