high pressure water spray in car wash can damage the car?

Hi all,
as new car owner for 1 st, i try do wash car in petrol station.
they use high presure water spray to do the job.
my question is, is that high presure water spray not damage the car, say at in front wheeper part.
that part if you point with high presure water spray, hm.. could be damage rite ?
other thing, any suggestion which petrol have good wash car service + price ?
i did on shell tpy lor 1, service : average,(they not really dry the whole body).
somemore the whole process quite fast, less then 10 min.

To be darn honest, there is really no good car wash in Singapore. The one at SJI clean wheels well IMHO. The ex Geylang Shell one is also inconsistent in their services. They have moved to SPC @ Katong near Punggol Nasi Lemak.
All prices are between 4-6 bucks.
As long as you polish your car often, high jet sprays are okay really. The best car wash are in Jaybee. 7 bucks and u get it clean, and I mean real clean.Originally posted by plusnplus:Hi all,

They use young strong chaps who can do a thourogh job in the shortest amt of time for the same price as other car wash. The worst i had, the ah-neh soap up my car half-way and went off for lunch!!!!

I think the car wash business has potential in Singapore... as long as some company can come up with good service at affordable prices, it will surely pick up... In singapore, most people live in HDB flats and they don't have the comfort of washing their car with a hose... using pails of water is very troublesome and it's very hard to wash it real clean.... that is why going for a car wash is preferred...
