  hopefully pump station will supply biodiesel in the future...they burn cleaner than normal petroleum diesel as they use vegetable oil...waste vegetable oil are most commonly use..n they are blend with methanol to make it easier to burn..they are also filtered to remove the unwanted stuff..viscosity is slightly thicker than petroleum diesel making it better lubrication to the engine too..

  point: it actually takes more energy to produce the diesel than the diesel is worth...
  
  which means, it will cause more pollution that it is worth.. then it causes twice the pollution.. once to make it and the 2nd time around when you burn the thing

  Petroleum is far worst...

  At least biodiesel is a renewable resource.... Petroleum is not...
  
  Also, the energy used to make biodiesel can be derived from clean energy sources, like solar or wind power. But of course Singapore is still ill-equipped when it comes to clean energy sources. Perhaps the government should build solar panels on every buildings since Singapore is so sunny. Or someone can invent a windmill which has solar-cells on the propellers. Then the windmill can get energy from the sun or wind. Haha.
