Hi All, I'm new here.. Just to share some experience related to this topic. Happened 5yrs back when i just got my license.
I was driving along SLE and was raining heavily. (Cannot see what's infront that type). I see red light (brake lights) in front and was coming nearer and nearer but lucky i jam brake just in time, but i release the brake after the car had stop and suddenly i got bang from behind. 1 Sec later, i got bang in front (coz didn't step brake.) That's my first accident.
Just to share this to those new drivers out there. When ur vehicle is stationary, try to make it a habit to step on brakes even though u'r not on slope coz u dun know what will happen.
