Can someone enlighten me on latest COE bidding results?

Just saw the latest COE results today.
I have visited the showroom twice this week, chose the model, but cannot make up my mind on the colour, and whether A/T or M/T. Spoke to the sale exe who was patient. I didn't want to rush into a decision so I didn't commit myself last night. I was told the COE bidding is today.
The latest COE is only for those who have ordered a new car before COE bidding result is out?
or is there some COEs which the car agent/dealers will bid and keep for people who decided to walk into the showroom after COE bidding results is announced?
I just visited the agent website and saw the price of the model I chose went up by $500 after COE results came out. How come COE drop but car price str away rise?

Bidding takes place every 1st and 3rd wed of the month. Say, if u placed an order next week, u will go for the next bidding dat is on Jan 4th 2007. If ur bid is unsuccessful, most co. will try bidding till u get ur COE for max. 6 tries.
It is better for u to check the price with ur SE for the latest price. The price increase may be due to changes in the package to 'guaranteed COE' coz its gonna be difficult for them to 'predict' the COE next round (Since the fluctuation dis round was pretty drastic). If its not a 'guaranteed COE' package, probably they are expecting the COE to go up next Jan. Give ur SE a call. -
