I did offer a few workshops for the guy... but the van driver insisted on bringing his van to his own workshop... tat' exactly wat worries me...Originally posted by Disappointment:Do you know any workshops? Or if a friend could introduced one? Tell van driver to bring it to your workshop and get the repairs done.
Or if you could privately settled with the van driver for a SGD "N" amount. But be sure to put it down on paper.
I think approximately for van repairs (as the damages that you had described), it should not be more than SGD 500.
What insurance policy have you had? If it's a comprehensive party, you can claim for your car and the van but if it's 3rd party only, the insurance company will only pay for the repair of the van.Originally posted by Daydreamzer:I did offer a few workshops for the guy... but the van driver insisted on bringing his van to his own workshop... tat' exactly wat worries me...

I would suggest you claim insurance but it may give you some demerit points (not sure how it works in Singapore). Have you contacted the insurance company yet?
Good luck!
Your premium will not affect much if the claim wasn't alot.Originally posted by Daydreamzer:I bought from NTUC Income... dunno about demerit points... but i was told by my friends that i may pay higher premium come next year... anyone knows how tis work out?
