Pte driving instructors

  Hi guys,
  
  i just passed my FTT yesterday, now looking for a pte instructor teaching manual.
  
  My friend had recommended me one at Ubi area, $22 p/hr but i read from previous pages that Ubi isnt very recommended as a test centre, as there are more heavy vehicles? personally i prefer SSDC, ie YCK area as its nearer my home too.
  
  do u have any recommendation on SSDC pte instructors?
  
  i have also checked the SPF website on pte instructors and Steven Ong and Hap Poo Hock has the highest number of students tested at SSDC. Do u guys happen to have Mr Hap poo hock contact no too??

  its better to be tested in the worst conditions so you won't suffer from culture shock the next time you encounter a terrible road situation. Trust me, driving around in Ubi during peak hours just takes alot of practise, getting used to and a sh!tload of confidence.

  But it does mean that its harder to pass right? and u gotta take on more lessons to practise?
  
  im kinda having a tight budget, so thinking of passing in the quickest and cheapest way. After gettin the license then continue to practise in more complex situation ba? haha

  its still better to learn in ubi... its better to get familiar with the congested road condition right from the start.. once u are confience.. it doesnt really matter if pple saying its difficult to pass.. its the skill u need to obtain right from the start..

  steven sucks.. he is a very stuck up guy who dont bother abt u. he only say n say n say but dont teach u or show u.
  
  and most imptly..
  he puts pp down..
  damage people's confidence...

  ubi area. he is nice and friendly, won't scold people de..... i have been learning from him for 1 month plus already

  still learning. my nex tp date in feb.
  my test centre still in ssdc.
  but my instructor is not steven. only using his car for the test.but he will still guide me when comes to circuit.

  so basically i hv 2 instructors.. but my main 1 teaches at ubi.

  theres only 20+ of them at SSDC... why not wait at YCK MRT and approach them directly?

  hey i am in the same situation as you , my tp will be under steven, but learning is another guy. is your instructor a mr tan ? sliver lancer is it ?

  ubi only route 6 and route 7 jialat nia. but in busy conditions, then your cutting of lanes wil be better.
