My car engine cooling system spoilt! HOT! HOT! HOT!

My radiator system is losing water very quickly and I can't find any leak.
The temperature will shoot up way high shortyl after I drive off.
Have to top up water into the coolant reservoir everyday!!
I parked on a dry ground and I can't find the leakage at all.
Do you think its a leak or water pump faulty?
I am going to get my new car in 2 weeks time. My car is due for scrap when I get my new car.
If I go fix, will it be bo hua? but dun fix this two weeks I drive I dam scare the engine overheat on the road. -

lol, then dont drive it at all lor, go rent a car or take public transport then once ur car comes, drive it for it's last journey.

go find out the price of maybe finding and patching the leak.. temp solution can le.. then decide if u wanna go ahead with it anot lor... either that or really go public till 2 weeks later lor

maybe ur radiator clog already,how old is ur car?

what i'd reccomend is that u conduct a coolant system presure test to see if there are leaks....if not..flush the system...(not just drain the whole engine block of coolant) run the water thru all the water jackets in the engine,hoses and radiatorsfor abt 5 mins...then fill her up with coolant....and see if it works...if it still dosent work check to see if u've blown a head gasket or have a cracked head...if yr head is cracked or warped u'll usually see engine oil mixed together with yr coolant

tell u wat...if not leakage right...jus carry on driving...but take note of the temp if shoot too high...find a place rest the car for a while then continue journey...or jus take public transport lor...no choice anyway its only two weeks

If u see no visible leaks, means no leaks. Check your radiator fan. Chances are it is not working.

If he has to top up water, chances are it is not a blown head gasket or a cracked head. Else he would also have complained about blue smoke from the exhaust. 2weeks left jus go n buy those radiator sealant solutions n pour into yr radiator n run as per normal. shd last bout 2 weeks...

First, find the radiator drain plug.
-drain off all water in the radiator.
-open the radiator cap.
-flash with water using a 1.5L bottle.
-see the color of the water flowing out of the drain hole.
Next
-buy a small bottle of coolant.
-Mix with water, read the instruction label if not sure.
For me, I pour at least half
into the radiator. After topping up with coolant, close the cap. You can also get a new cap at any petrol shop ( very cheap nia ).
Starts engine and observe the fan. Must be runnning. Also check the engine oil level ( before u starts the engine ). Check the temp level go up or not.

if u use a 1.5 liter to flush it..i don think the effect will be good...cause no pressure to clear the clog(if got la) and cannot do reverse flush...but can try out using those garden hose la better
then if leak right the smoke wont be blue...its white...bluish smoke is cause by burning of engine oil,which is mostly cause by worn piston rings or blown gasket -

the worst advice to giv is to flush the system. this will cause the clogged leaks to open up n make the radiator into a sieve... -
