  just like the black normal plates i suppose.. some ppl wan colors on their plates maybe... they got white... black and yellow for normal peak cars.. right?

  tats wad my fren told me:
  if ur back plate is yellow, ur front must be white plate.
  black for both side.
  red is weekend la.

  Yellow (back)/white (front) plate is all same as black plate. No restriction on timing usage unlike red plate. It's for those driver who would like to decorate and polish up their car nicely then they put yellow/white plate on.

  white words on black or black words on yellow are the two choices available for vehicles on private cars scheme.

  If i'm not wrong the blue and white plate is for use in special areas only. Such as within the ports=)

  no, that is RU/Restricted Use. green and brown.
  
  RD can go anywhere, provided u can register it as RD in the first place. i have only seen one RD so far.

  mine is white lettering with black plate.. But very special,mine not start with letters,is start with numbers...
