Toyota Soluna is assembled in Thailand..... not built in thailand...... well..... r u intending to get a 2nd hand or 1st hand? If 1st hand, well a Soluna XLi (Manual) cos abt $75,000, Soluna GLi (Manual)abt $81,000 and GLi (Auto) cost abt $83,000.
According to spec, the maunal, regardless of Xli or GLi have a pick up speed of 11.5 sec (0-100km) and 16.2 sec for the auto. So my advice is, if u wanna buy, get a XLi (manual) , as its faster and cheaper.
However, you might want to consider buying a Honda City instead, also assembled in Thailand, slight more expensive than Soluna but performance wise much better, esp now that there is the City Vtec, the manual 1 will cost abt $80,000 with a pick up of 99.3 sec.

Thanks alot Atti. i needed that.
I intend to get a first hand vehicle with a budget about the price of Toyota Soluna GLI(M).
I intend to get Toyota Soluna GLI(M). So what do you all think ???? or recommend ??
Kart~z
Hmm.... Atti, point taken but honda city does cost alot more compare with soluna.
CITY 4-DR 5MT SOHC NEW VTEC=$84,437.50 (with A/W 1CD) Soluna 1500GLi SEDAN=$80255 (With CD AC RL RP ABS 1SRS )
Performance wise, yes honda looks better compare to soluna. but for facility wise i think soluna got more to offer for a car of this price. please correct me if i am wrong.
But really thanks for your comment. Please continue to contribute people.... Thanks...

Kart~z, i'm seriously against u buying honda city or toyota soluna, cos they're not very good cars...trust me, i did lotsa homework before buying a nissan sunny...

Kart~z, since u r willing to spend abt 80k on a car......... how abt spending $85k for a brand new Toyota Corolla 1.5 Manual??? The new model is just out, and it dun look so 'uncle' compared to the old ones. The article gave the thumbs up for this new car. Maybe you can consider this.
Kart~z
Inzaghi, could you kindly please tell me what so lousy about this two cars?
Atti, My budget is about $80K max already. coz other than that, every month would be very tough on me. Anyway may i know where can i see the article?
But thanks to you both anyway.
Atti
Kart~z ....... the article can be found in the magazine 'Motoring', an excellent local magazine ....... easily available at most magazine stalls.
