  It's been more than 6 mths since last discussed about Airwave...
  
  Any comments on the performance of the car and PIs?
  
  Thinking of getting it as the passenger row has ample leg space.

  I think if you go for the airwave, at least get the one with moonroof else no point.
  With PI, the main problem is whether got spare parts or not u see.
  
  Why dont you look at other new models that are coming out from AD ?

  IMHO.. theres something wrong with the design of the car.. something just doesnt gel yet i cant really put a finger on it..
  
  personally would try the latio sport as well if ur considering this car.. same 1.5 CVT.. but i think the latio sport would be more comfortable and its rear legroom is adjustable depending on whether u want more or less boot space too! And its from AD..

  Btw, fyi the airwave is derived frm a cargo vehicle frm honda.. can't rmb the name alrdy, but it can be found in www.honda.co.jp

  just to add.. i find it a bit cramp when i in the driver seat... there is no pedal for the left foot to rest.. and is sort of small space for my body even though i am small size...

  Honda airwave for big room space but not a 7 seater, fuel consumption very heavy becos its honda.. road tax cheap becos its 1.5litre.. got good got bad choice is yours man

  hmm... i dunno much about honda airwave... so u guys are saying that it only has a 1.5 litre engine? CVT means continuous variable transmission... but why my fren tell me it has 7 gears AT?

  Okay i just checked... it's really 1.5 litre engine... how come the engine is so small for an MPV? and the size of the car is not really anywhere neat common MPVs i think... the other time i saw one test drive Airwave next to a BMW 5 series... it was even slightly shorter than the 5 series lor....
  
  So regarding the CVT and 7 speed AT... can anyone shed some light on me? Or was my fren just bullshitting because he bought the car?

  it is not a MPV la. it is a stationwagon.
