1. front and back plates Black background with White wording.
or
2. Front plate White background with Black wording, back plate Yellow with black wording.
you can see it on LTA website.

i ever saw a white RX-8 with white front plate and black back plate. this is also illegal but less likely to get caught cos it's not so obvious. those EU plates are pretty obvious with the blue. so if u want to do, be prepared to be stopped by TP.
Bro, a 997 is a 911 but a 911 doesnt mean it's a 997.Originally posted by Garage R:its not a 911..its a 997 turbo..but dunno why its stated 911 on LTA..maybe she just got the porsche recently..
Blue! Who talks about blue??Originally posted by ceecookie:Hexy : Then what about the post below?
the opposite. its the old ones. 80-90s? correct me pls.Originally posted by nyox:just that day outside my house, i saw this E280 with customised EU plates. Instead of blue at the side, it was red with SGP. really stands out. will try to snap a pic next time.
also spotted an old beetle yesterday with no. plate SV4*9. no last alphabet. if im not wrong, the SV series were the first few plates in sg?
Oh Oh! Was that the one I got a ride from you the other day? Man, that was fast!Originally posted by tomsss:that's nice.. but seriously, who really gives a damn about chassis no., engine no., date of registration, inspection date etc?

oh man cool it.Not asking for heat here.Just asking why is it legal when the guy below said not.Originally posted by HeXy:Blue! Who talks about blue??
I mean european plates that have those blusish side graphics, not that the whole plate is blue.
The plate is still white with black wordings at the front and yellow with black wordings at the back. 100% compliant with the regulations.
If u still dont trust me, 1800-CALL-LTA.
oh i was just speaking in a normal tone..Originally posted by ceecookie:oh man cool it.Not asking for heat here.Just asking why is it legal when the guy below said not.
