turbo charger found !
u make it sound so simple but have u ever thought of the consequences of having such a huge ass turbo? IMHO i'd rather just do a rechip and change the exhaust...that'd be good enough for driving arnd the roads nicely...Originally posted by drumstick:he already say wrx... still install supercharger for wat...
Change to TD07 super big turbo charger.
I agree with AE86 tofu..haha..an ECU remapping and change to a lower back pressure exhaust should be able to gain about 40-50bhp..more than enough..changing the whole turbocharger is a troublesome business in Singapore..have to let LTA approve and stuff..and by changing to a turbo with higher boost pressure, it might make the engine wear and tear faster..Originally posted by AE86tofu:u make it sound so simple but have u ever thought of the consequences of having such a huge ass turbo? Are you referring to underdriven harmonic balancers aka underdrive pulleys? Yes, I've done this mod. Cost me about $400 in total. It lets the engine rev up a bit quicker/easier. It's not a huge performance gain but it is probably worth a few tenths down the quarter mile.Originally posted by seow:I have heard about changing to lighter pulleys to lighten the load and to improve responsiveness, how credible is that?

My car gained about 50hp at the crankshaft from headers, metal core cat converter, mandrel bent exhaust, custom edit (ECU tune), 20% underdriven harmonic balancer and cold air intake. Stock standard, my car produced 182kw (245hp) and 380Nm of torque. After these mods it was producing about 223kw (300hp).Originally posted by Anima85:i am currently driving the 2006 impreza .. i am looking for around a gain of 40 horses and mainly .. i want more pick upsand anyway where to get a CF bonnet and boot ?? cheaper de ?
