Battery Water

  how do u check ur battery water level?
  how often?
  
  frens told me to use torchlight etc, but still could not really gauge if/when should top-up...
  
  any suggestions?

  i usually check every week
  
  i'd just top up till the mark found inside my battery

  simple la...get those maintainence free batteries la...no need 2 top up at all...problem solved....tomss what u waiting for...get those batt from yr workshop la

  dun want, they are rated to last for only about 2 years same goes for the one inside YOUR car

  my point is :
  i find it difficult to see the mark (hence the torchlight)...
  or... am i looking for the wrong thing???

  ok lah, usually when u open the battery cap.... you look into the hole you can see the water level right? shiny shiny, can like almost see yr reflection lidat, correct? then if you notice, the cap hole wall extends a bit down into the battery itself. just top up the water until you see the water touching the wall and "distorts", or you see the water like sticking to the side of the inner hole wall. that would be the top mark, i think. no need torch light mah

  nope...my is almost new... just changed it nt long ago cos the customer req. 2 change his batt due 2 preventive reasons...less than 1 yr
