A Lady Driver That Nearly Knocked Us Down!

I was going to have lunch with my colleagues an hour ago at Bras Basha. One of my colleagues and I was walking infront and we were waiting for the 'Green Man' to appear before crossing. So, the 'Green Man' appeared shortly and we crossed the road.
Both of us were nearly knock down by the white colour car SDE 450S while crossing the road. (and we were already crossing 3/4 of the road) IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT IT"S REDLIGHT AND YOU CAN'T SPEED AT THE STREET. 2 contractors saw both of us standing there still and I can only remember my other colleagues screaming.
It was only 1 step away, if both of us had taken 1 more step, we would be in hosiptal now.
One of us saw that it's a lady driver while the other remember the car plate number. This lady must be rushing to hell for driving so fast on that street. I wonder if i can report this to the traffic police?

If you think its for the sake and safety of pedestrians, why not? A friend and I nearly had the same incident too at a zebra crossing. Too bad I could not take down the car plate license else I report it to the traffic police.

Don't bother with the Police...
If people beat you up in public, they tell you go to the Magistrate as it is a civil case....
And since you were not hit by the lady driver's careless driving, they will probably tell you have no case...
But if you are an MP, it will be totally different....
You can sue her in High Court and to Kingdom Come... -
ai next time u see that vechicle just use ur keys and give it a nice marking lo... haha

if ya holding something and if ya fast enough, throw whatever you are holding at that car and hope it lands on it. if that redlight runner stops and contfronts you, just tell that bugger "you fugging ran throw a red light and nearly knock me down, you CCB! STILL DARE TO TALK TO ME?!"

no point reporting to anyone, nothing will be done. Since no one is injured, it is your word against mine. Can deny till the heavens come down, but ultimately, no one hurt, so no problem.

Making a police report is a waste of time. Like nokia care center, there's quite a queue too. Estimated turn around time, 2 hours. And maybe a few more round of interviews.
If really really got case charged in court, you, the witness, need to take the stand, and be interrogated by lawyers. You need to take leave.
The point is, don't take green man for granted. Always on the watch out. -

my friends say most female drivers are lousy and ignorant drivers.. who agrees on that

Yes, report the case to TP, get all witnesses contact and name, have the reg no of the vehicle, how the driver looks like, male/female, colour of clothes, from which lane to where, time...etc....TP will investigate.

personal experience. TP take down your stmt and contact all parties involved. After interviewing, no case, cos no evidence. It's one words against another. Unless have 3rd party eye withness who are willing to come fore, or and video, pictures, etc. Else no case.

I cannot and I will not tolerate this kind of driver! I don't believe that they wont even give her some warnings! She should be taught a lesson. what if she really hits us?
By then apologise also no use le la! I become ghost will also go and haunt her de!!!!!
anyway i intent to report this case... She deserve it..
