What car are you driving?Originally posted by matchless:for my car.
Thnx.. Are those plastic ones legal?Originally posted by EVOW123:you can get the original type from MRSign at Hoy Huat Rd(can't remember the address) just that its opp the new CPIB
if you want the plastic type, go to Johnson Stickers (next to TP)
cost is from $70 to $120..
plastic is cheaper...
but bare in mind!! if you use EURO fronts, be prepared to get stop by the MEN in White more often and get Tickets!!!
i teach you.... just buy some blue tape and stick it at the left portion of your current plates. i tried with mine b4Originally posted by HeXy:Thnx.. Are those plastic ones legal?
I am interested in the normal font but with those blue graphics at the side..
How much lidat?
Thnx
I heard of the material and the reflective thingy used in no plates. is there a standard? i dont want to get failed on inspection due to wrong material or sth like that..Originally posted by matchless:Thanks for all the bros who gave me useful advice. I agree with bro Garage R, it is definitely legal if you use british style fonts and NOT euro fonts if you do euro plate. what i gather is front must be white background, and back is yellow background. our current plates all use british standard fonts.
of course euro fonts look cooler but highly illegal.
thanks again. anyway i drive a bmw so i think a euro plate will sort of match the manufacture of my car. i know it's still quite ridiculous to have a euro plate for singapore car but hey, it looks cool and i guess that is all that matters.
btw, LTA has replied and said that they have no problems with euro plates as long as the fonts and spacing are compliant with their standards.
so for those bros who wanna do euro plates, no prob. just make sure you do the legal ones.
cheers

Would like to ask where can i make LTA legal Euro Plates for my car.
Apparently, there are mixed opinions about whether they are or are not legal. Regardless, i think i will just go to the workshop and ask them if they have LTA compliant ones.
So anyone knows where i can get good quality Euro plates?
Thanks!

They do GB, D, I, F, etc plates for you. With Euro fonts or British fonts. But with Euro fonts may cost a lil' more.Originally posted by Vigelic:but he needs D, not GB o.0 got options?
