Hey guys.
Well im thankful for what has happened recently and i need opinions for a car.
Could you guys could recommend a car that would be good for everyday drive yet has the capability for fun and zippy drives during the weekends. I study about 30km from my school.
Budget is up to 160k. the subarus or evos and those kind of cars are out of the questions because my dad feels they are quite "ah beng".
feel free to recommend, I wouldnt mind second hands,If you have contacts for nice second hand cars with low mileage it would be great if you could give me some info.
Please treat this thread seriously. I'm not like that Evolution IX mr guy if you know what i mean.
thanks

2.4 let me guess... accord?Originally posted by WhamBamTyMam:haha oh sorry to hear that.
well n0x i needed to highlight that because currently when i drive a 2.4litre car to school i can actually see the damned meter move when i go from home to school. or perhaps the car just aint fuel efficient.
but yea beemers are great. however i have an affinity for the older E46 model. especially the cabrio versions. E90 looks out of proportion.![]()

160k for a car just to drive when you are a student is frankly.... too much... You might as well get a Swift Sport or Honda Jazz... the rest either save up or use for monthly maintanence...I understand where you are coming from. I used to take the public transport too as well. but wasnt it such a hassle to squeeze in the morning rush, to stand all the way throughout the ride(if you dont board from pasir ris)?
For a student to even drive a BM, Alfa or Lexus to school... you're still asking for your car to be scratched... Being humble is better... a civic or a vios is just as good...
I stay in the east, my school's in the west... driving distance is also about 30km... but I still take public transport to and fro... So saying you stay far from school isn't really a very good reason to blow 160k on a car...
But then again, its your money... your choice on what to do with it... this is just my opinion... Smile
