What part of the car was involved in the accident? If it has to do with the wheel area, then that may be the cause as well.
Have you serviced or modified your brakes? It could be that the calipers or pads not fully tighted and secured in place.
And changing of coils, in most likely cases, WILL void your warranty on the steering, as it is linked to the suspension system.
