Porsche Cayman S or Lexus??

Cant really decide whether to get a Porsche Cayman S or Lexus LS460L...Both are good cars...Does anyone have any other views or recomendations? Like the Porsche as its sporty but its too similar to boxster. The Lexus is good especially it comes with so many equipments and excellent before and after service...

if u r rich enough to afford those cars... then buy both... one for weekend one for weekdays at the office.... -
I would say get the Lexus if you are mainly driving on Singapore road. Its more fun and comfortable.
You will be able to go head on head with the WRX/EVO/Lotus/BMW's...its fun to be able to keep up with such cars at traffic light drag race. Sometimes you win...sometimes you lose...depends on who got more guts...but you will never be left far behind for sure.
If you are driving a Porsche...many of them will not dare to race with you because of the preceived mentality that "Wah, porsche leh, very powerful, better not malu myself by racing with my unworthy WRX-STi"
Get the porsche if you are more the track-type of person.
Else Lexus is the best of the compromised option. -
motorsports journalists always say that the only reason you buy a boxster of cayman is becoz you cannot afford a 911. If you gonna buy a porsche, buy a 911! If you can't afford, then dont buy porsche, buy something else.

worth the consideration. my first choice is the cayman as i want to break away from sedan and mpv.but due to work i need to have a car like lexus and the are offering me an attractive trade in so i did not rule out.but will consider on that option on getting both if possible.Originally posted by n0x:why are u comparing 2 diff stuff???

but IMHO... cos i nv driven both of them b4... i think that u wun enjoy driving the cayman to work everyday.... i mean these 2 cars are designed for totally different purposes... so it is best u can get both...
anyways whats the reason for u wanting to break away frm the sedan?? boring exterior?? maybe u can consider something in btw... like 3series coupes, 6 series or the A4 coupe... -

Talking of the LWB version of the LS, can you get it with the 5 seats option or do you have to stick with the 4 seat Exec version in Singapore?

thought that maybe if i were to really consider getting both cars, its just not financially correct as i could use it in other ways. So maybe getting the Cayman in second hand instead. Does anyone have any recomendations on where can i get a reliable seller?
