Some OPC expensive cars are owned by car collectors who drive the "extra" cars out for fun only....
For the rest of the OPC expensive cars, they belong to people who dont have enough money but want to show off.... da zhong lian pi chong pang zhi...
OPC Merc and BMW rare lah cos ppl who have taste for such brands arent really stupid to register them as OPC.... But I really hate OPC WRXs and Evos.... for obvious reasons... -
Most luxury cars are people's daily driver, either for work or for taitai to go town etc... rarely ppl will buy OPC for normal luxury sedan. I've seen OPC Merc SLK though...
It's quite logical that a 'sports' type of car is more likely to be OPC. As for OPC Sunny's and Picantos, well, that's just extreme practicality. Owner does not drive to work or maybe he works before 7am and knocks off 7pm. Can use the car for his family on weekends. (still cheaper than renting a car)
As for OPC rex, evos, tiong chias etc.. might be owner's 2nd car or maybe he only uses it for tracking on weekends etc... what's there to hate? Instead of 140k for new Evo, owner pay $123k for OPC... does it mean he's poor but still like to show off? That's still pretty expensive.

Well, on the same note, you are entitled to your opinion, but its quite a generalisation and bordering on narrow-mindedness to make such comments. Live and let live. (But of course if they come and blow you then give them back la..haha) -

WTF..OPC Bentley? LOL..wad a joke! I simply don't believe the owner only needs it on weekends..or is his daily commute a Rolls-Royce? Haha..and that a set of very ugly rims the owner had specified..is he too poor to specify bigger and better rims? Haha..i think it's only 17- or even 16-inch only..LOL..or maybe the owner cares more about ride comfort than a set of bling bling alloys..

Knew of a few OPC W123 MB 230/280CEs.
Not sure if the last AM Lagonda copy here is an OPC or not.
It's a practical choice, given their high road tax quantum and the fact that these cars are not their owners' daily commute. The AML sits in a garage fronted by four more cars. -
