while learning driving, manual car, doing right turns, on a crossroad junction with heavy traffic.
then hor, as u stop into the bend thingy in the middle of the cross road junction, preparing to turn right... meanwhile the traffic light shows green, n then u see the cars from the opposite direction is quite far away, got enough time to turn, or so u thought (therefore can turn now, no need wait for the green arrow to show up)
so u step on the accelerator n clutch n gear 1, but then hor! u died car after moving a little bit... engine stall, n u r stuck on the middle of the road of the opposing direction, with cars from the opposite direction approaching u! at high speed perhaps!!!
then u panic n try to start engine, but with ur panicness, u stall again or cant start!
then the cars come towards u n horn n maybe touchwood got accident?
got such things happen to u dear drivers before???? was it traumatizing!!!
i think the instructor must be traumatized too!

i drove into the opposite direction, with my fog lights on.

when turning right one time almost stalled..quite scary sia..coz opposite side may have speeding cars..the best i think wait for arrow...safest..

i got stucked while doing u turning my car.. front wheel hit the kerb.. scare the car behind will crash into me so i fug care n let the car drive over the kerb n back to the road..

i stall my engine when im trying to do a U-turn. cos of that, i make the car behind me have to wait for another green light.

I think the instructor must be dan worried when he saw the oncoming cars approaching at high speed. WHY? > becos he is seating on the left and the first one to get hit is definitely HIM.

yar. i got similar experience but not halfway thru the turn.. somewhere before the turn, while waiting for the right turn arrow to turn green -

mine was diff.
during my TP, i was on the straight road, a car came out from the side and causes me to jam E brake, thus failed my TP.
tat bloody female driver was on hp somemore, and didnt even bother to apologise, i feel like chasing after her n humtam her, luckily the tester stopped me.

Hai ya its normal to be honked when you are an L plate. Everyone goes thru this phase and next time you mite be the one horning at people.

drive auto car no such problem
if i never remember wrongly, moving off slow also will deduct marks during TP.
if u are unsure, just wait loh
dun have to bother abt cars honking at the back. It's your own safety that matters -
