Ok, so the Mark X uses the same engine as the IS250 - but what's your point? Are you equating the Mark X to the IS250? If yes, you are also saying that the Lotus = Toyota because it uses a Toyota Celica engine?Originally posted by n0x:toyota mark x uses the same enigne as ur is250 with on a gs300 platform and cost less than 100k....
but u have to get from PI... juz for ur info...![]()
Try Jonathan. I bought mine from him. This guy's young but provides excellent service (well, probably being young is the reason why he provides excellent service). Deal was quite good too. Good luck!Originally posted by s0ftdr|nk:Hi, just test drive the IS 250 and find it rather good. Would like to find out from you guys if you know any problems with that car so far... anyone here can recommand or advice me a agent with good offers?
Thanks!
Better sound Insulation" you try during heavy rain condition?Originally posted by jeje008:Ok, so the Mark X uses the same engine as the IS250 - but what's your point? Just to let you know, I have tested both the Mark X and the IS250 and you can feel the diiference immediately when you sit inside the IS250. Totally plush and luxurious. The IS250 comes with better contoured seats, softer leather, MUCH better sound insulation, Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control, paddle shifts, 13-speakers Pioneer sound system, air-conditioned seats at the front (WOW!) etc etc... And on top of that, great looking car with the powerful 'L' badge. So you'll know why you want to pay $30k more for the IS250, which I did.
i guess what he is trying to say is they are bulit on the same platform. and besides, not everyone can afford a $30k price difference.Originally posted by jeje008:Ok, so the Mark X uses the same engine as the IS250 - but what's your point? Why you say Euro cars got good insulation ley? Which car? Goddness... haven't you heard that Lexus is well known for its comfort and quietness? Of cos it's BETTER than European cars in sound insulation.Originally posted by zaxis:Better sound Insulation" you try during heavy rain condition?

Oh, so you want a car that is totally insulated against rain noise?Originally posted by zaxis:read the article

seriously jeje, drive lexus so? don't need so arrogant mah. n0x was
comparing the IS to the MarkX out of practicality reasons. Same engine, more
powerful, larger platform, $30K cheaper. It's quite obvious what's the choice.
unless people like u lor, buy a lexus to satisfy ur ego![]()
