mixing diesel into petrol

heard from someone last time that mixing a bit of diesel into the petrol can clean the injectors and some other parts...is this true...did anyone try b4???if got wats the amount...

It's not worth the damage that you'll eventually cause. A little grime may dissolve in the diesel but it won't burn properly as the injectors are not made to spray diesel and the compression ratio of the petrol engine is inadequate.

but.. my friend's friend who worked as a delivery man b4.. pumped petrol into a half-filled tank of diesel..

That's because diesel engines do not have spark plugs!
Diesel ignites when it's injected into hot highly-compressed air. -

if you want to clean the innards out, there are fuel injectors and fuel system cleaners available that you can add into your tank .... -
One time diesel pajero filled with petrol (i think it was attendant fault
)..
drive for few momments then feel like no power....so quickly stop and check fuel receipt...knn..wrong fuel.
no choice, ask tow truck come, bring to workshop n drain the whole thing. $60 petrol gone, $200 workshop fees..but I think its a small price to pay

You can save a lot of money if you know how to drain the tank, change the filters and bleed the fuel delivery line. (Provided the filters cost less than $200)

trust me.
If u mix liaw. u must flush it out instantly.. ON THE SPOT. Do not attempt to start the engine to allow the mixed engine into the various areas of the engine. Damage to ur engine is immediate and long term.
Diesel Dun go to Benzine... n same other wise. Because the mixture n burn rate is different the engine designed is specific. Diesel engine n petrol is totally different design. -
