anyway who thinks that the WRX STI is not already fast enough...Originally posted by zerocool85:its a good car...
however.. singaporeans usually want the bang for buck..
they rather buy the base WRX and modify it with 59k and to be even much faster than the s204
bro... honestly speaking.. which BRAND NEW sports car out there in market isnt modified now.. even when its new, alot of owners modify until nobody business already...Originally posted by tomsss:... that is, if they are willing to void the manufacturer warranty.
but cos this is a factory "special".. if left stock, it could fetch a good resell price i think... considering the growing number of modded Rexs on the road these days.

wah this "handful" of people don't even number into the 20s... think the CEO will have to absorb them into his stable or probably hand it out in some lucky draw.Originally posted by ditzy:Its just one of those specials only few would appreciate. rather motorimage overestimates the popularity of themselves and the brandname of subaru....Originally posted by Axl:This highly touted performance ride first reached our shores in Sept 2006. Since then, we've heard "Ah Seng" trying to test drive this limited edition car on mediacorp radio which singapore is gratefully allocated 30.
According to the review, I quote:
"Agent MotorImage expects demand to be overwhelming, so it is raising the price by $1,000 after each unit is sold. So the 30th buyer might just have to fork out $190,000 or so."
8 months on, "Ah Seng" is still trying to test drive the S204.
What happened to the "overwhelming demand"?
Has the audacity of MotorImage backfired right into its face?

Fairly speaking though, he has done a great job with Subaru IMO; previously Subaru was generally viewed as second class in comparison to Toyota/Nissan. Their brand value has climbed dramatically.Originally posted by n0x:rather motorimage overestimates the popularity of themselves and the brandname of subaru....
they interviewed the ceo of motorimage in one of the newspaper... son of the head of tan chong... dun like the way the person spoke.. full of himself.... well... it takes somebody so haughty to come up with such a stupid marketing strategy...![]()
Actually i dun think he did anything to increase the brand value, i think the brand was made better awareness to us through the WRC.Originally posted by rmyfrm:Fairly speaking though, he has done a great job with Subaru IMO; previously Subaru was generally viewed as second class in comparison to Toyota/Nissan. Don't let his privilleged family background prevent unbiased observations when passing judgments.

Ya ok, this is the car forum, people would know the WRC, but definitely the people here (if any at all) only account for the most minimal fraction of Subaru buyers.Originally posted by cosmic_rides:Actually i dun think he did anything to increase the brand value, i think the brand was made better awareness to us through the WRC.
