How does racing clutch add to the performance of ur car?
How much to change to racing clutch for esi?
Basically,
Standard Clutch ---> Sports Clutch ---> Racing Clutch.
The racing clutch, my advice is not to use it for daily driving. The design is not for half-clutch. Not a good idea if you need to stop half way on a slope frequently.
Just upgrade to a heavy duty one, usually we call it Sports Clutch.
It can withstand more abuse and will not slip easily compare to a Standard Clutch after some spirited driving.
So the available power can be transfered more effectively.
About less than $1.2K (depends you need the clutch cover etc).
is it true dat using racing or sports clutch help achieve biting point easier?? coz i tried driving my friend's evo 8 and he had a racing clutch on..i realise dat i dun really need to let go the clutch at the halfway mark for the car to move off but to the one quarter mark for it to move off..anybody care to explain??
ya... gear 1 release full clutch car wun die...
but v hard... still getting used to it...
