ummm...wad i meant was it comes with the Tien coilovers and Fujitsubo exhust.Originally posted by cosmic_rides:Wah, so ex ah? Anyway the ride from what i heard the ride is already very stiff, why do u wanna change that?
I guess you would be better off driving it stock first for a few months first then change the stuff that you think you would need to improve rather than going straight with the exhaust mod. how would you know that this exhaust gives you the power that you need or lag? what if it provides more high end and you require more low end power?
Maybe you should go to some other PI to get another quote. I got my at $103k and i know of others who got slightly lower then my cause they take a higher loan.
Good luck
hmmmm, not sure about that. i thought ur PI changing them for uOriginally posted by racingmafia:ummm...wad i meant was it comes with the Tien coilovers and Fujitsubo exhust.
I have not taken my car yet so i dun know how stiff and bumpy the ride is but i read from other drivers who have taken their CTR, they claim that the ride is very bumpy due to the stiff shocks. this CTR is design to be a track car as well as a normal road car.Originally posted by dare2kill:i see. Can you explain what you mean by stiff handling? No good?
dun think anyone has test driven this car yet in sg. KM only has the car on display and car should arrive in aug or sept.Originally posted by ceecookie:What about the British Civic Type R?

erm.Is the "as type r" referring to the JDM?Originally posted by dare2kill:will stiffness be solved by tuning suspensions? and yeah, it is both a track and road car. USDM and BDM Type-R are different from this JDM one. the british type r has the same performance as the type r kah motors is selling. Same goes for the USDM one. Which is 200bhp 2L ivtec engine.
actually, both JDM and BDM shared the same engine, K20A but the JDM model is tune more to meet the track specs while the UK model is not. The bhp and torque in the UK model is slightly lower than the JDM one. The brakes are also much smaller then the JDM model which came with brembo. Performance wise, from the specs, i dun think the UK model is up there with the JDM model.Originally posted by dare2kill:will stiffness be solved by tuning suspensions? and yeah, it is both a track and road car. eh, i think the JDM model is heavier by 3kg. but not sure y everyone else is saying the UK model is heavier.Originally posted by HolySniper:and the uk model is heavier!!![]()
i mean JDM type R's bhp is higher than the type r civic hatchback sold in singapore by kah motorsOriginally posted by ceecookie:erm. Is the "as type r" referring to the JDM?
Becoz BDM has 200 whereas the JDM has 225,which kinda contradicts ur 2nd statement.![]()
