Yea, the 612's engine is in front and the 430's engine is in the rear.Originally posted by bir milyon:612 into a F430!!! i dont think so look at the car it is obvious a F430 with all the rims etc. and the most amazing is that it could move the engine to the back???!!! and i agree with others that it is just impossible.![]()
It is possible when my uncle friend is doing it. I even got saw before a Volvo S80 using a replica body of and Evo 5 a few years back and two different car body joining together also. All done by my uncle friend, but too bad he stop doing it last month as he has retired because of his illnessOriginally posted by bir milyon:612 into a F430!!! i dont think so look at the car it is obvious a F430 with all the rims etc. and the most amazing is that it could move the engine to the back???!!! and i agree with others that it is just impossible.![]()

Yup, the whole process need about at least 3 months to about 1 year or so mainly depend on how badly the car is being damage.Originally posted by sand king:Whoa, means must overhaul like crazy!?
Dude, if you wanna fake, please do it when it's not that obvious.Originally posted by dustychelsea:ok i had check it out with my uncle,it is a 612 Scaglietti with a F430 body work and the car is a malaysian registered car. My uncle knows the owner as the owner happen to be one of my uncle workshop customer. He told me that his car got a accident and the body got badly damage, he sent his car to one of my uncle friend workshop and his friend helped the owner to change the body to a F430 want. But all the part except the body is sure 612 Scaglietti.
Ya I know many people wont belive it, as this skill is very hard to master and you need to learn it overseas but this skills is fading soon as not many people will want to master it as it waste alot of time and effort to learn it and some more this industry is very in low demand as many people rather buy new cars then spending money to repair their old car. This is a rare sight in Singapore as not many people know how to do this and many of them have already retired.Originally posted by TwinTurbo_Supra:Dude, if you wanna fake, please do it when it's not that obvious.![]()

I dont need to explain about that as no method how I explain you wont belive itOriginally posted by TwinTurbo_Supra:You know you make it sound like kungfu.
Then would you care to explain why when sand king pointed out that it was an F430, you changed your post from 612 to F430 initially before changing it back to 612 again?
I don't have any proof but I did see it happen.
(crap i must be too free)
I don't need you to explain your uncle's magical powers.Originally posted by dustychelsea:I dont need to explain about that as no method how I explain you wont belive it![]()
Heres a short summary of my explaination to why I edited my post twice:Originally posted by TwinTurbo_Supra:I don't need you to explain your uncle's magical powers.
I just need you to explain why u edited your post twice.
can i go to ur house and u let me dabble with ur logged in online banking account... i promise u will nv find out... i will be more discreet than ur friend....Originally posted by dustychelsea:Heres a short summary of my explaination to why I edited my post twice:
When i was posting the pic, my fren popped by my house to borrow my comp to use for some research and i let him to use it. He saw what I had posted and edited it with out asking my permission, i was at toilet at that time when the incident occured. When i saw what he had posted, i quickly edited it back and then i had a quarrel with my fren.
I know its hard to belive what i had jus said as it looks like a make up story but it is what had happened during that moment of time. So take it all leave it this all i can just say
Ok... i would call it plausible. (Mythbuster style LOL), cos given that the whole F430 body came as a kit, that would mean, according to you, 3 months dedicated to re-work the chassis length, wheelbase and tracks front and rear.... which still somehow sound impossible.Originally posted by dustychelsea:ok i had check it out with my uncle,it is a 612 Scaglietti with a F430 body work and the car is a malaysian registered car. Yeah. All that without altering the smooth shape of the F430?Originally posted by tomsss:Ok... i would call it plausible. okok...even if that is possible, to move a 5.7L V12 engine to the rear and reconfigure the whole drivetrain and transmission just sounds plain... crazy. OR if that car has its engine left in front.... lots of cooling problems, unless the radiators are re-postitioned or split half and placed at the vents on the sides. And i definately do not believe the front end of the 430 can accomodate the V12... would be a damn tight fit.
If the fact that the 612 was replaced by a 430 ALTOGETHER as WHOLE... ah then it sounds more sensible.![]()
does his 'uncle' even exists...Originally posted by TwinTurbo_Supra:Yeah. All that without altering the smooth shape of the F430?
Does your uncle wield a lightsaber?![]()
hahah thats freaking disgusting....freaky...hahahaha!Originally posted by aku1b0d0:I wanked to these cars.
Im afraid...yeah..hahah... I want also... toyota to WRXOriginally posted by focusST:lol, this kid never learn his lessons. expecting us to buy his story just like that? nonsense, 612 to 430. = to dustychelsea's future daughter (if any, i doubt so) become his mother...
So u mean its an F430 with a scaglietti interior and engine? And may i know where ur uncle got the F430 shell from?Originally posted by dustychelsea:ok i had check it out with my uncle,it is a 612 Scaglietti with a F430 body work and the car is a malaysian registered car.
