Modification of Headlights

  Hi all,
  
  I wish to check if it's illegal to install aftermarket PROJECTOR headlights to replace stock ones?

  clear cut answer. no
  
  if go inspection sure fail. ROV vehicle see oso fail. but i noe of workshop tt can send in the vehicle for inspection for u n PASS ur vehicle with illegal mods

  but if I'm not mistaken, if it's spotted on the road, it will be confiscated.. True?

  on the spot ah? then must call a mechanic on the spot too in order to remove the headlamp unit... then then that will render the car illegal cos cannot run car w/o headlamps... then end up must call tow truck to tow to a workshop to refit original headlamp unit.
  
  of course not on the spot lah i think tell with give u warning letter or something, requiring you to remove the illegal modification asap.

  if scared then dun change loh. otherwise dun drive after 7pm lah.

  Projector headlight is not necessarily the blinding HID lights.
  
  HID lights of any kind is not allowed with tight exceptions.
