Supposedly la..haha..that's what they claim..they claim cleaner emissions, smoother engine, more power and less fuel consumption when u pump V-Power or Caltex Techron Platinum..cuz they added detergent to the fuel to help clean off the carbon deposits in the engine..Originally posted by LyonK:works ah...hm..maybe i should try

Singapore's car usually have more carbon deposits than cars in other countries due to our "start-stop" traffic conditions..![]()
But will create enough drag at high speeds to increase fuel consumption by about 3-5%..haha..Originally posted by Kuali Baba:Remove any unnecessary weight from the car, whether it's in the boot, the cabin or on the driver.
Switch off the air-conditioning when possible. At low speeds, opening your windows won't create enough drag to adversely affect fuel economy.
Air-con is battery-operated lah... Free..., what are you trying to save?Originally posted by Kuali Baba:Switch off the air-conditioning when possible. At low speeds, opening your windows won't create enough drag to adversely affect fuel economy.
The fan is battery-operated but the compressor isn't. Switch off the A/C button and watch the revs dip.Originally posted by VODKA KE0601:Air-con is battery-operated lah... Free..., what are you trying to save?
